Pick up some beachy clothes, then grab a margarita and Mexican seafood fare at Rockin Tacos. If you prefer a burger and fries, Al's Beach Club grills them to order. The Crab Trap and Floyd's Shrimp House draw diners from the mainland with their straightforward but delicious seafood dishes.
There are more places to eat than The Boardwalk. Head west to Old Bay Steamer for enormous portions of their specialty: freshly steamed seafood. And if you're in the mood for shrimp and grits, Asiago's Skillet is the local's favorite breakfast joint.
The best shops in the area are on the mainland, but you're still extremely close to excellent grocery shopping, housewares, and upscale independent specialty shops. Top-tier services are also nearby; there's no reason to feel isolated on your island retreat.

The Island Pier stretches 1,262 feet over the water, allowing you to view marine wildlife and amazing sunsets. Want to go fishing but don't have access to a boat? You can rent tackle, get a day pass and license, and try your luck here.
